Commercial Disclosure

KilowattLogic publishes source-labeled commercial energy intelligence. Some reader paths may eventually involve referrals, sponsorships, or commercial relationships, and those relationships should be disclosed before they influence a reader's next step.

Our Standard

KilowattLogic may receive compensation if a reader asks for an introduction, requests a commercial rate analysis, chooses a referred provider, or engages with a sponsored or partner-labeled offer.

Commercial relationships do not determine our article conclusions, market labels, source selection, or whether a company receives favorable coverage. Our editorial standard is source-led analysis first, with commercial paths labeled separately.

A free analysis request is no-obligation. If a future step involves a paid referral, procurement relationship, sponsor, advisor, supplier, broker, software platform, demand-response provider, solar or storage partner, or efficiency partner, that relationship should be disclosed close to the relevant offer.

How We Label Commercial Paths

Editorial

Source-labeled reporting, market analysis, or procurement context created under KilowattLogic editorial standards.

Partner referral

A commercial path where KilowattLogic may receive compensation if a reader requests an introduction, submits a form, or chooses a referred provider.

Sponsored

A paid placement or sponsor message that is separate from editorial conclusions and identified near the placement.

Advertising

A paid ad placement. KilowattLogic does not currently use broad programmatic display advertising as a primary monetization layer.

Savings, Rates, And Program Claims

Energy savings, program revenue, payback periods, and procurement outcomes vary by market, tariff class, usage profile, contract language, supplier terms, equipment, timing, and local program rules.

When KilowattLogic publishes a rate, forecast, program value, or buyer implication, the page should identify whether it is API-verified data, source-reported information, a forecast, or KilowattLogic analysis. Account-level decisions should use contract-specific review.

Editorial Separation

We do not accept payment for favorable editorial coverage. Partners, sponsors, suppliers, brokers, or portfolio interests should not control article conclusions, rankings, source labels, or correction decisions.

For our broader sourcing and correction standards, see the Editorial Policy and Source Ledger.
